Aaron Eugene Warner, age 59, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 2:35 AM - Saturday, March 02, 2019, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Private family services will be held.  In loving memory of Aaron, memorials may be made to the family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

Aaron was born on September 30, 1959, in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of Richard and Marvella (Copenhaver) Warner.  He married Vickie Kendall on April 20, 1984, and she survives.

Aaron was an over the road truck driver, a job that he loved.  He enjoyed fishing and was a NASCAR fan.

Wife of 34 years – Vickie Warner of Newton, Illinois

Children – Autumn (Greg) McKinney of Moore, Oklahoma; Amity Warner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kayla Seibert of Newton, Illinois and Gary (Victoria) Warner of Newton, Illinois

Brothers – Ricky Warner of Florida; Dwayne (Tamara) Warner of Mattoon, Illinois and Billy Ellersick of Springfield, Illinois

Sisters – Julie Smith of Altamont, Illinois and Nancy Ellersick of Mattoon, Illinois

23 Grandchildren

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, step father Frank Dabbs, son Aaron "A.J." Warner, Jr and a brother Gary Warner.
