Mrs. Ada Mae Moran, age 90
Of Effingham, IL and formerly of Ste. Marie, IL passed away at 9:15 PM - Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at
St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM – Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, IL with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie, IL. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crossroads Cancer Center.
Ada Mae was born on August 14, 1921 in Willow Hill, IL the daughter of Otto and Anna (Hornbaker) Jones. She married George William Moran on December 30, 1940 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, IL and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2004.
Ada Mae was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Ste. Marie; St. Mary's Altar Society and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ste. Marie Post #932 American Legion. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

Grandchildren – Brian (Michelle) Ping; Cheryl (Brad) Reynolds; Ryan Kinder; Michelle (Doug) Hogue; Amanda Moran and Brad Moran.
Great Grandchildren – Holly and Zachary Reynolds, Christopher and Jessica Hogue and Bayley Ping.
Sisters – Thelma Hickey of Wilkinson, IN; Vera Huddleston of Yale, IL
Brothers – Wendell Jones of Eugene, OR and Donald (Peggy) Jones of San Diego, CA
Ada Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Bob Jones and a sister Rachel Ann Jones.
