Adeline Flowers, age 90

Adeline Flowers, age 90, of Dieterich, Illinois, passed away at 10:29 AM – Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Effingham Health and Rehabilitation Center in Effingham, Illinois.

Private family services will be held with burial in the Dieterich Village Cemetery in Dieterich, Illinois.  A potluck meal in loving memory of Adeline, will be held 1:00-3:30 PM – Saturday, October 12, 2019, at the Dieterich Community Civic Center 102 Virginia Street Dieterich, Illinois 62424.  Those that are attending are asked to bring a cover dish to share.  In loving memory of Adeline, memorials may be made to the family.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Adeline was born on November 23, 1928, in Dieterich, Illinois, the daughter of George and Lola (Harris) Cole.  She married Raymond L. Flowers on January 18, 1947, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1972.

Adeline worked at Standard Grisby in Aurora for many years.  She was a member of the Strong Tower Church in Effingham.

Sister – Alberta Wilson of Effingham, Illinois

Several nieces and nephews also survive

Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Rosemary Craig and Ursula Russell and brothers Tom and Allen Cole.
