Alma J. (Allen) Tovo, age 81 of Olney, passed away at 2:00 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.

Public visitation be from 1-2 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Private graveside service will be at 2:30 PM at Dundas Cemetery in Dundas. Pastor Steve Willis will be officiating.

Alma was born on July 6, 1939 in Sumner the daughter of William and Gladys (Lancaster) Allen. She later married Louis Edward Tovo in June 1968 in Chicago. He preceded her in death.

She worked as a nurse's aide and a homemaker for many years. She was attended First Baptist Church in Newton for many years. She was the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary President at one time. She enjoyed crocheting, working on plastic canvas artwork and doing community work.

Alma is survived by her 2 sons Michael Tovo (Brenda) of Dundas and William Tovo (Angela) of Palestine; 3 daughters Helen Schwartz (Steve) of Olney, Patricia Siddens (Timothy) of Dundas and Carol Page (John) of Ohio; 3 brothers Richard Allen of Florida, Tim Armstrong of Indiana and Gary Allen of West Virginia; and 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Tovo, parents William and Gladys Allen, 2 children Tim Tovo and Linda Tate and several brothers and sisters.
