Angela L. McClain, age 71
Of Newton, IL passed away at 2:05 PM – Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM – Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, IL with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Arrangements are under the care of the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.
Angela was born on July 31, 1940 the daughter of Charles and LaVern (Antey) Wright. She had worked at United Technologies and was a housekeeper for the River Park Motel in Newton.
Angela was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Newton. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and her dog Little Bit.
Angela is survived by:
Son – Sean McClain and Special Friend Justin Durbin of Newton, IL
Grandchildren – Emily and Nathan Durbin
Brothers and Sister – Vincent (Lucy) Wright of Upatoi, GA
Carolyn (Lou) Lacobee of Baton Rouge, LA
Jerry (Louise) Wright of Upatoi, GA
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, sister Charlene Strickland and a brother Larry Wright.
