April Gertsch, age 60, passed away at her residence in Olney at 7:00 AM, on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 3 PM on Monday, April 28th, 2014 in the chapel of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3 PM. Cremation rites will be accorded. Reverend Mike Baker will be officiating.

She was born on March 31st, 1954, in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of John L. and Ila (Wiskur) Foreman. She later married Alan Gertsch on June 26, 1989 in Henderson, Kentucky. He survives.

April was a homemaker and a past member of Moose Lodge and Bridgeport Fountain Fellowship Church. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Gertsch; son Daniel Elder II, and his wife April; foster son Gary York, and his wife Mary; 2 daughters, Patience Booth; Gloria Clark, and her husband Ronald; two sisters, Melody Russell, and her husband Terry; Bunny Foreman, and her husband Bobby; 21 grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Gus, Dalton, Breanna, Daniel, and Faith Elder, Harley and Aaron Coffey, Jonathan and Victoria Owenby, Lee and Danielle Clark, Jessica and CJ Wilken, Kenny, Cassie, and Janie Elder, Mia Foreman, Damien York, Maggie and Shania Kinsel; two great-grandkids, Josie and Detroit Wilken and several nieces and nephews.

April was preceded in death by her parents John and Ila Foreman, brother John W. Foreman and grandson baby Michael.
