Barb was born on September 23, 1946 in Effingham, IL the daughter of Louis and Mary (Schafer) Dion. She married Larry Rennier on May 25, 1968 and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1984. Barb married Frank Miller on June 19, 1991.

Barb touched many hearts with her kind loving spirit. She enjoyed her work as a bank teller and school cook. Her love of people, especially children allowed her to be a daycare provider for several years. Barb enjoyed helping others and making others feel good as she shared her gift of massage and Reflexology. Her greatest joy was her family, her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking and gardening. Barb was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
