Bernice M. Bonde, 90
of Newton, IL and formerly of Chicago, IL passed away February 26, 2012 at the Newton Rest Haven in Newton, IL.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM – Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Riverside Cemetery in Newton, IL. In loving memory of Bernice, memorials may be made to the Newton Ministerial Association. Bernice was born on July 20, 1921 in Crosby, ND. She married Sam Bonde and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2006.
Bernice and Sam were the owners of Holiday Ice Cream.
Bernice is survived by:
2 Children – Kathryn (Jeffeory) Miller of Newton, IL
James (Irene) Christianson of Great Falls, MT
2 Grandchildren – Tana (Heath) Schmidt and Amy Christianson
of Newton, IL and formerly of Chicago, IL passed away February 26, 2012 at the Newton Rest Haven in Newton, IL.
