Betty Jo Harrolle, 83, of Olney, passed away at 6:32 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Helia Healthcare.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on November 28, 2022 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney. Pastor Erik Hopkins will be officiating.

Betty was born March 30, 1939 in Olney the daughter of Walter A. and Mary (Ennis) Gibbs. She later married William 'Bill' Harrolle on November 15, 1983 in Newton. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2018.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Olney. She worked as a CNA at Community Care Nursing Home. She was also a member of the Moose Club.

Betty is survived by 5 daughters Renee Gibbs of Evansville; Lisa Totten (Joey) of Olney; bonus daughter Constant Lemons of Olney; step-daughter Tammy Cheadle (Danny) of Newton; Cheryl Ash of Lawrenceville; stepson Bill Harrolle of Calhoun; brother Ronnie Gibbs (Ruth) of Olney; eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Harrolle, parents Walter A. and Mary Gibbs and brother Walter Gibbs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
