Betty Miller, age 87
Of Rural Teutopolis, IL passed away at 8:25 AM – Monday, September 5, 2011 at the
Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham, IL.
Funeral services celebrating Betty's life will be held at 3:00 PM – Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Wheeler, IL with Pastor Stephen Gillet officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Cemetery in rural Wheeler, IL. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service. In loving memory of Betty, memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Church and Cemetery Fund.
Betty was born on December 21, 1923 in rural Jasper County, IL the daughter of Frederick Henry and Anna (Krick) Meislahn. She married John I. Miller in 1962 and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Betty was a farm wife and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Betty is survived by:
Niece – Charlene Martin of Roselle, IL
Nephews – Robert Effner of Effingham, IL
Dean (Karla) Meislahn of Big Cabin, OK
Fred (Judy) Meislahn of Sigel, IL
Ted (Cherie) Meislahn of Adair, OK
Several great nieces and nephews.
