Betty Mabel Napier, age 97

April 21, 1927 – May 25, 2024

Betty Mabel Napier, age 97, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 6:20 PM – Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her home.

Graveside services for Betty will be held 12:00 Noon, July 20, 2024, at the Old Union Christian Church Cemetery in Fayetteville, Indiana.

Betty was born April 21, 1927 in Bedford, Indiana the daughter of John and Fanny (Wells) Coil. She married Henry Thomas Napier in 1958 and he preceded her in death on  July 15, 1986.  Betty was a member of the Old Union Christian Church in Fayetteville, Indiana and attended the First Baptist Church in Newton.  She enjoyed watching basketball and NASCAR.  Betty was very adventurous and loved to travel.  She went on several  cruises and loved to drive. Betty also loved to play cards with her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her son: Patrick Thomas Napier and wife (Paula Harris) of Elizabethtown, Indiana
daughter: Celia DiTolve-Cacamese of Somerset, New Jersey
daughter: Norma (Jim) Swisher of Newton, Illinois
7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
