Beverlyn Sue Dengler, age 76

Beverlyn Sue Dengler, age 76, of Greenup, Illinois, passed away at 4:40 AM – Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Casey Health Care Center in Casey, Illinois.

Private family services will be held with burial in the Aten Cemetery in Hidalgo, Illinois.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home – Bishop Chapel in Greenup, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Beverlyn was born on January 21, 1942, in Goodman, Missouri, the daughter of John James Henry and Goldie Ellin (Long) Henry.  She married Floyd Andrew Dengler on September 6, 1959, and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2006.

Beverlyn worked at Ettelbrick Shoe factory for many years.  She was also a loving foster parent for many years.

Daughters – Susan (Richard) Hudson of Greenup, Illinois and Cindy Dengler of Danville, Illinois

Grandchildren – Steven Shillings of Effingham, Illinois and Lara Shillings of Greenup, Illinois

Brother – Leonard (Linda) Henry of Westville, Illinois

Sisters – Kate Potter of Middlefield, Ohio and Carolyn Goodhue – Potomac, Illinois

Beverlyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Kenneth Henry and special friend Bill Gilbert.
