Bradley John Lustig, age 60, of Wheeler, Illinois, passed away at 3:00 PM - Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00-4:00 PM - Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Immaculate Conception Hall in Dieterich, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.
Bradley better known as Brad, was born on March 9, 1960, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of B.J. and Margie Ann (Probst) Lustig. He married Jane Marie Bloemer on August 11, 1979, at St. Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church in Green Creek, Illinois.
Brad graduated from Dieterich High School in 1978. Then attended Lakeland College and graduated with a degree in auto mechanics. After graduation, Brad went to work at Dan Hecht Chevrolet in Effingham, Illinois. He then owned and operated Dieterich Tire and Auto for several years. Brad retired from Steven's Industries as a mechanic.
Brad was a member of St. Isidore Parish. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

Wife of 40 years – Jane Lustig of Wheeler, Illinois
Father – B.J. Lustig of Dieterich, Illinois
Children – Craig (Stephanie) Lustig of Glenn Burnie, Maryland; Eric Lustig of High Rolls, New Mexico; Matthew (Lauren) Lustig of Dieterich, Illinois; and Mitchell (Nikki) Lustig of Wheeler, Illinois
Grandchildren – Cheyenne, Hayden, Braden, Darin, Gunnar, London, Hutch and Sylvie
Brother – Bruce (Lynn) Lustig of Effingham, Illinois
Sisters – Susan (Todd) Baughman of Mattoon, Illinois; and Diana (Richard) Gerth of Dieterich, Illinois; and Stacey (Russ) Sehy of Effingham, Illinois
Father-in-law – Robert Bloemer of Green Creek, Illinois
Brad was preceded in death by his mother, mother-in-law Mary Bloemer and his beloved dog Copper.
