Brenda (Young) Clark, age 70, of Olney, passed away at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Burgin Manor in Olney.

Funeral service will be at 3 PM on Friday, October 13 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be two hours prior to service. Burial will be at Sumner City Cemetery in Sumner. Pastor Caleb Sechrest will be officiating.

Brenda was born on September 7, 1947 in Lukin Township in Illinois the daughter of John M. and B. Evelyn (Holsen) Young.

She worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center for many years. She attended Fountain Fellowship Worldwide in Bridgeport. She also enjoyed quilting. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Brenda is survived by her 2 sons, David (Marcy) Clark of Cabot, Ark. and Jeff (Deanna) Clark of Spring Lake, NC; 2 daughters, Kimberly (Chris) Phillips of Dundas and Lisa (Gregg) Burbank of Fairfield;  sister Linda (George) Gardner of Terre Haute; brother Dennis (Karleen) Nichols of Vincennes; 8 grandchildren, Brandon (Paige) Phillips, Courtney (Chris) Tipton, Kaylynn (Greg) Smith, Emily Burbank, Michelle Clark, Emma Amos, Shane (Amanda) Amos, Rusty (Jessica) Amos; 9 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brylynn Tipton, Anna Jo Hutchcraft, Kevin Burbank, Xavier Salinas, Kylie and Rilynn Amos, and Peyton and Ava Amos.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Evelyn Young and husband Delbert "Ozzie" Clark Jr.
