Brenda Jo (Dhom) Dallas, age 54
Of Newton, Illinois passed away at 11:00 PM - Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at
St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Funeral services celebrating Brenda's life will be held at 1:00 PM – Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois with Joseph Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery in Willow Hill, IL. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM – Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the funeral home. In loving memory of Brenda, memorials may be made to the family.

Brenda was born on August 4, 1960 in Olney, IL the daughter of John Joseph and Clara May (Bickers) Dhom.
Brenda was a mental health caregiver for the State of Illinois for several years.
Brenda attended the Shiloh Christian Church in rural Willow Hill. She enjoyed watching TV, crocheting, reading and eating ice cream.
Brenda is survived by:
Children – Candy (James) Schrader of Claremont, IL
Michael Dallas of Dixon, IL
Grandchildren – Dalton, Zander and Lexi Schrader all of Claremont, IL
Sisters – Jeanne (Andy) Palen of Olney, IL
Lisa (Tom) Wetherholt of Wheeler, IL
Gretchen (OJ) Barber of Newton, IL
Shawna (Brian) Ederer of West Liberty, IL
Several aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews also survive.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and a niece Amy Wetherholt.
