Brenda Tovo, age 62, of Fairfield, Illinois, passed away on April 6, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
 Brenda was born on March 6, 1964, in Carlinville, Illinois, the daughter of Gilbert and Gladys (Scroggins) Wayman. 
She married Michael Tovoon December 17, 1983, in Robinson, Illinois and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2021.

 Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney.

Brenda was a Christian and had a strong faith in God. She loved her family and enjoyed planning parties for their special events. 
She loved helping her family anyway possible as it brought much joy into her life. Brenda would spend her spare time doing puzzle books and reading. She loved her many animals over the years and considered them her children.

 brothers: Charles Wayman of Gillispie, Illinois and Dwayne Wayman of Litchfield, Illinois, 
and several nieces and nephews 

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Michael
