Brian Wayne Wilson, age 52, of Oblong, Illinois, passed away at 1:18 AM – Sunday, September 23, 2018, at his home in Oblong, Illinois.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 5:00 PM – Friday, September 28, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church in Oblong, Illinois, with Father Flach celebrating mass.  A memorial service will follow mass at 5:45 at the church.   Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  In loving memory of Brian, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Brian was born in Fort Knox, KY, on February 25, 1966, the son of Darrell L. Wilson and Marjorie (Huber) Wilson.  He worked as a painter for Local #1705 for 16 years.  He also worked at E.H. Baare in Robinson and as a welder.  He was a member of Our Lady of the Lourdes Church, Oblong.

Brian married Delores Ochs on April 24, 2004 and she survives.

13 Grandchildren: Chandler Childress, Avah Callaway, Lucas Wilson, Noah Callaway,

Stephen Childress, Zeke Montgomery, Dawson Childress, Payton Childress, Jaxton Wall,

Zoey Montgomery, Norah Childress, Uriah Childress and Roman Wilson

Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents.
