Casey Jean Levingston, age 29

Casey Jean Levingston, age 29, of Lerna, Illinois, passed away at 6:27 PM - Friday, December 07, 2018, at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM - Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois, with Mike Elliott officiating.  Burial will be in the Jewett Cemetery in Jewett, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.  In loving memory of Casey, memorials may be made to the Meyer Funeral Home 307 West Jourdan Street Newton, Illinois 62448.

Casey was born on December 25, 1988, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, the daughter of Jeffrey and Lisa (Stiffler) Levingston.

Casey graduated in 2007, from Fernley High School in Fernley, Nevada.  She then graduated from the University of Phoenix with her associates in health care administration.

Casey worked at Wal-Mart in Effingham and had worked at Spherion in Charleston, Illinois.  She enjoyed reading, drawing and was an avid Harry Potter and Tinker Bell Fan.

Parents – Jeffrey and Lisa Levingston of Lerna, Illinois Brother – Nathan Levingston (fiancé Melody Panos) of Charleston, Illinois

Sister – Alicia Haylock of Lerna, Illinois

Grandparents – David and Wanda Levingston of Dieterich, Illinois and Vernon Stiffler of Shelbyville, Illinois

Nieces and Nephews – Naveya Haylock, Patrick Levingston, Paisley Levingston, Zoey Ferrell, Makaelah Houlston and Hayden Levingston

Best Friend – LaKiesha Brooks

Casey was preceded in death in by her grandmother Sandy Gallion.
