Connie M. (Scott) Pride, age 67, of Olney, passed away at 2:10 AM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport.

Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 PM on Monday, February 4, 2019 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney. Pastor Todd Bettis will be officiating.

Connie was born on May 21, 1951 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Hubert and Dorothy (Burton) Scott. She later married Wesley Pride on December 14, 1968 in Louisville, KY. He survives.

She was a homemaker and also worked in the school system as a cook for a time. She was Pentecostal by faith. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching game shows on television. She always wanted to have company over no matter what time of day it was. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Connie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wesley Pride of Olney; 2 sons Tony Pride (Cassie) of Noble and Wesley Pride of Olney; daughter Dawn Schafer (Randy) of Newton; mother Dorothy Scott; brother Randy Scott (Deborah) of Louisville, KY; sister Linda Scanlon (Tim) of Louisville, KY; and 7 grandchildren Brittany and Landon Pride, Chelsea and Wesley Pride Jr., Dalton, Riley and Trenton Schafer .

She was preceded in death by her father Hubert Scott and daughter Sonya Pride.
