Cordia Marie Hundley, age 81 of Olney, passed away at 12:32 AM on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 6th, from 11 AM to 1 PM with funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Hanna Cemetery in Noble. Reverend John Monroe will be officiating.

Cordia was born on July 21st, 1931, the daughter of Vernia and Mina (Campbell) Patterson in Noble, Illinois.

Cordia was a member of Glenwood Christian Church in Noble, a member of Olney Eagles #2549 Ladies Auxiliary. She worked at GTE as switchboard operator and later for AirCall Communication, an answering service for businesses. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and she will be sadly missed by family, friends, all that knew her.

Cordia is survived by three sons, Dean Hundley of Claremont, David Hundley, and wife Gwen of Houston, Texas, and Darrell Hundley, and fiancé Deb Malone of Claremont; three daughters, Denise Hulfachor of Lawrenceville, Diana Hundley of Olney, and Deborah Evans, and her husband Howard of Fishers, Indiana; sister, Nancy Seibert of Terre Haute, Indiana; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vernia and Mina Patterson; four brothers, Andy Patterson, Sam Patterson, Gene Patterson, and Vern Patterson; two sisters, Mary Patterson and Becky Thomas; grandson Devin Hundley and granddaughter, Patricia Marie Elliott.
