Danny Lee Finn, age 56

Danny Lee Finn, age 56, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 6:25 AM – Monday, April 22, 2019, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM – Thursday, April 25, 2019, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  Burial will be in the Aten Cemetery in Hidalgo, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM – Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at the funeral home. In loving memory of Danny, memorials may be made to the family.

Danny was born on July 1, 1962, the son of Ed and Minnie Belle (Hamilton) Finn.

Danny was a farmer and he enjoyed mushroom hunting and boxing.

Danny was an avid New England Patriots fan and anything John Deere.

Danny is survived by:Daughter – Nicky Carter (Darin Giles) of Beecher City, Illinois

Grandchildren – Payton Tolliver, Danny Tolliver and Brookelyn Rahn

Sisters and Brothers - Joyce (Francis) Henne of Mattoon, Illinois; Linda Nuding of Shelbyville, Illinois; Eddie (Vicki) Finn of Newton, Illinois; Shirley (Jim) Price of Stockton, Alabama; Ray Finn of Newton, Illinois; Mike (Diana) Finn of Greenup, Illinois;  Sherry (Caeser) Siclare of Cleveland, Tennessee and Jodi (Mark) Forbeck of Newton, Illinois

Several nieces and nephews also survive

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, son Danny Finn, II, brother Ed Finn, Jr., nephews Eddie Finn, Jr. and Mitch Finn, great nephew Ayden Robinson and a sister-in-law Sandy Finn.
