David Alan Snearley, age 57

June 9, 1964 – December 24, 2021

David Alan Snearley, age 57, of rural Newton, Illinois, passed away at Friday, December 24, 2021, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Visitation will be held 4:00 – 6:00 PM – Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  In loving memory of David, memorials may be made to the family.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

David was born on June 9, 1964, in Washington, Indiana, the son of Arden Alpheus and Eden Ilene (Miller) Snearley.  He married Robyn Sue Laux on November 22, 1986.

David was a printing press operator at TPS Printing in Newton, where he had worked for the last 12 years.   He enjoyed gardening and working on oddball projects such as, rebuilding engines with his son Zak, home improvement, and wood working.

David is survived by:

Wife - Robyn Snearley of Newton, Illinois

Children - Marcus (Crystal) Snearley of McHenry, Illinois; Zachary Snearley of Newton, Illinois and

Nikole (Mykal) Sanders of Indianapolis, Indiana

Sister - Nancy James of Sainte Marie, Illinois

Grandchildren - Isaac, Leia, Christian, and Parker Snearley

David was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Trudy Stupec.
