Debbie was born on November 22, 1955, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Albert and Verdene (Stevens) Michels. Her family moved to Noble, Illinois in 1962, and she married her high school sweetheart, Bill Fletcher, on January 9, 1971.
Debbie was a believer of Protestant faith and loved leading others to know Jesus. She was always ready to lend a listening ear without passing judgment. She was a lover of icy cold drinks, night drives, and campfires at Red Hill or Grand Rivers, Kentucky. The Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee was another favorite vacation spot, but what she really loved the most was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren - her proudest accomplishments. Any time spent with them always gave her so much joy. She also loved cuddling with her fur-grand babies Buddy, Cash, and June.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Bill Fletcher of Olney, Illinois
Daughter Cheryl Fletcher-Mesnard of Olney, Illinois;
Son Brian (Mary) Fletcher of Noble, Illinois;
Grandson Jordan Fletcher of Mt. Carmel, Illinois ;
