Denzel Taylor, 64 of Olney, passed away at 4:02 PM on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Thursday, July 8, 2021 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Maple Dale Cemetery in Olney. Pastor Gary Wachtel will be officiating.

Denzel was born on August 25, 1956 in Olney the son of Howard and Norma Jean (Fleming) Taylor. He later married Rhonda Engledow on February 15, 1975 in Olney. She survives.

He owned his own automotive repair business for over 30 years called Taylor Repair. He enjoyed going to Farm Festivals, going to car shows, looking at muscle cars and tractor shows.

Denzel is survived by his wife Rhonda Taylor of Olney; son Chad Taylor; mother Norma Jean Taylor; and 2 sisters Barbara Brown and husband Rex of Olney and Cathy Taylor of Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father Howard Taylor and sister Judy Taylor.
