Mr. Donald Joseph "Don" Healy, age 74 "Prairie Farmer" Of rural Dieterich, IL passed away at 8:45 PM - Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Don was born on December 11, 1936 in New Haven, IL the son of Franklin Dale Adams and Ursula Mae (Walser) Adams. He married Barbara Laird on August 28, 1958 in Galesburg, IL and she preceded him in death on June 1, 1995. Don was an operating engineer with Union Local 841 of Terre Haute, IN and was a farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting especially coyotes, crappie fishing, camping and being outdoors. Don is survived by: Mother – Ursula Mae Adams of Dieterich, IL 1 Daughter – Tammy (Joe) Cato of Bourbonnais, IL 3 Sons – Scott (Julie) Healy of Mason, IL; Shane (Mindy) Healy of St. Elmo, IL and Shaun (Leslie) Healy of Greenup, IL 11 Grandchildren Don was preceded in death by his father Franklin Adams and his wife Barbara (Laird) Healy.
