Funeral services celebrating Donna's life will be held at 10:00 AM – Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL with Pastor Leon Hanley officiating. Burial will be in the Jewett Cemetery in Jewett, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM - Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the funeral home. Donna was born March 24, 1935 in Toledo, IL the daughter of Ted and Ethel Washington (McElravy) Shaw. Donna married William Ray "Bill" Lemar on April 16, 1957 and he preceded her in death on April 8, 1997. Donna worked at the Casey Nursing Home and The Birchwood in Casey, IL as a CNA. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Toledo, IL and the Greenup American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, animals, gardening and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed drinking coffee with her neighbors.

Donna is survived by; Daughter- Cindy (Jack) Lemar of Jewett, IL Grandchildren- Jacob Haga of Greenup, IL; Mandy Jo Lemar of Jewett, IL and Jack Lemar, Jr. of Beecher City, IL Great Grandchild- Sarah Lemar of Effingham, IL Sister- Sue McVey of Greenup, IL

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Lee Shaw and brother- in-law Elmer McVey.
