Dorothy Erlene (Urfer) Isenburg, age 90

Dorothy Erlene Isenburg, age 90, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away June 26, 2017, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Private family services were held with burial in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, Illinois.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at

Dorothy was born on September 28, 1926, in Rural West Liberty, Illinois, the daughter of Walter G. and Flossie (Robins) Urfer. She married Warren Isenburg on November 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1977.

Dorothy is survived by children Larry Isenburg of Phoenix, Arizona; Linda (Dean) White of Thornton, Colorado and Karen (Richard) Landucci of Greenbrae, California.

Grandchildren Nicholas (Amber) Burkey and Sam (Karen) Burkey.

Great granddaughter Mia Burkey.

Brothers Walter Urfer of West Liberty, Illinois and Earl (Susan) Urfer of Dundas, Illinois.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Leon Urfer.
