Edward Park, 79, of Olney, passed away at 6:47 PM on Monday, May 31, 2021 at his residence.

Celebration of Life service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Olney. Reverend Chris Jennette will be officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Edward was born on October 18, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of James and Ruth (Kennedy) Park. He later married Sheryl Maxey on March 6, 1982 in Olney. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2021.

He worked as a janitor at Escalade Sports in Olney before his retirement. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Olney. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, scraping, and antique vehicles. He was a member of Free Masonry, and Gold Wings Motorcycle Association.

Ed is survived by his children Grace Milligan (Mack) of Rochelle, IL, Terry Park (Crissy) of Newton Travis Park (Stacy) of Olney; 3 grandchildren Amee Robertson, Amber Winterrowd and Troy Winterrowd; 3 great-grandchildren Thomas, Lillian, and Ava; special friend and caregiver Doris McGregor and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sheryl (Maxey) Park, parents James and Ruth Park, 3 brothers Donnie, Richard D. and Butch Park and sister Helen Pender.
