Funeral services celebrating Eldona's life will be held at 11:00 AM – Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Re. Tim Pearce.  Burial will be in the Dundas Cemetery in Dundas, IL.  Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.  In loving memory of Eldona, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. Eldona was born on November 29, 1935 in Logan, West Virginia the daughter of Hubert and Florence (Bickford) Jones. Eldona was a caregiver to many people over the years.Eldona enjoyed crocheting, watching baseball games and spending time with her grandchildren.

4 Grandchildren- Jason (Mary) Hayes of Dieterich, IL

Jared (Adrienne) Hayes of Manhattan, KS

Maranda (Ryan) Rohr of Newton, IL

Carlie Rule of Bridgeport, IL.

2 Sisters- Barbara Cox of Petersburg, IN and Shirley Pflaum of Noble, IL

9 Great-Grandchildren, 4 nieces and 2 nephews also survive.

Eldona was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Joe Porter and 1 niece.
