Elizabeth Ann (Hewett) Monroe, 83, of Olney, went to be with her Lord, at 8:55 AM on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport.

Funeral service will be at 12 PM (NOON) on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney. Pastor Mike Williams will be officiating.

Ann was born on January 12, 1939 in Arlington, South Dakota, the daughter of Walter and Edith (Holcomb) Hewett. She later married John Monroe on December 7, 1962 in Germany. He survives.

She and her husband, John, were the Pastors of Olney Christian Fellowship for several years. She loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior. She was a sweet lady that made an impact on several people's lives. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Ann is survived by her husband John Monroe of Olney and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Edith Hewett and son Matthew Monroe.
