Elwin Lee Knifley, Sr., age 59

Elwin Lee Knifley, Sr, age 59, formerly of Lerna, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in Tennessee.

Elwin Lee Knifley, Sr. was born on November 30, 1960, in Illinois, the son of Paul and Naomi (Oakley) Knifley.

Lee served his country in the United States Army and was discharged in 1983.   He worked as a truck driver for many years.  Lee enjoyed being in the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing.

Lee is survived by-

2 Sons - Travis (Amanda) Knifley of Martinsville, Illinois and Elwin Lee (Marie) Knifley, Jr. of Brocton, Illinois

4 Brothers - Terry Hampton, Tim Knifley, Paul "Splinter" Knifley and Paul Knifley, Jr.

1 Sister - Evelyn Murphy

7 Grandchildren- Tabitha, Elijah, Lincoln, Tyler, Samantha, Jerry and Christopher.

Elwin was preceded in death by his parents and sister Deborah Brown.
