Floris M. Feltner, age 86

Of Greenup, Illinois passed away at 7:15 AM – Thursday, October 01, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Floris will be held at 3:00 PM – Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Meyer Funeral Home (formerly Bishop Funeral Home) in Greenup, Illinois with Marvin Oakley and Pat Powers officiating.  Burial will be in the Block Cemetery in rural Greenup, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 2 hours before the service.  In loving memory of Floris, memorials may be made to the Lincolnland Hospice.

Floris was born on July 26, 1929 on the family farm south of Greenup, Illinois the daughter of Roy Roscoe and Mabel Lillian (Jones) Wright.  She went to school thru the 8 ^th grade at West Union School in a one room school house.  Mrs. Nora Sperry was her teacher whom she greatly admired.

Floris married Floyd "Pete" Feltner on October 9, 1950 at Mt. Zion (Block) Church in rural Greenup, Illinois and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1977.

Floris was a homemaker, famer's wife, loving mother and grandmother.

Floris was a member of the Mt. Zion (Block) Church and served as a 4-H leader for many years.  She enjoyed collecting miniature oil lamps, playing dominos and doing crossword puzzles.  Her favorite time was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Children – Deb (Bill) Huddlestun of Newton, Illinois

Steven Ray Feltner of Greenup, Illinois

Bruce (Cathy) Feltner of Greenup, Illinois

Chuck Sharp of Greenup, Illinois and Dave Dunn of Greenup, Illinois, whom she loved as her own sons

Grandchildren – Matt Dunn, Mitch Dunn, Sabrina Feltner, Kisha Titus, Sierra Feltner, Josh Feltner, Brock Miller and Brandon Miller

14 Great Grandchildren

3 Special nieces and 1 special nephew

Floris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers Marvin, Ivan and Vance "Bud" Wright.
