Forrest E. "Frosty" Wade, age 104 of Noble passed away at 12:20 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Helia Arch Healthcare in Olney.

Visitation will be from 2-4 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2015 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. The funeral service will be at 10 AM on Monday, September 14, 2015 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Houser Cemetery in Noble. The Reverend David Berry will be officiating.

He was born on September 2, 1911 the son of Harry and Margaret (Varner) Wade. He was married to Evelyn (Myers) Wade for over 50 years and she preceded him in death. He was married to Velma Legg on June 3, 1990 in Wynoose. They have been married for over 25 years and resides at the Emerald Glen Assisted Living Center in Olney, Illinois.

Forrest was a farmer for many years and a member of the Wynoose Church. He enjoyed many hobbies such as woodworking, whittling, beekeeping, and gardening. He was a member of the Wynoose Church bowling league, and 4-H leader. He was a  school board member for West Richland and was on the basketball and track team for the Noble High School. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Velma Wade of Noble; son Jerry Wade, and wife Shirley of Jenks, Oklahoma; 2 daughters Amber Walker, of Noble and Linda Deimel of Flora; sister Leone Michels, of Olney; stepson, George Westall and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Forrest was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Myers) Wade, parents Harry and Margaret Wade, son Herby Wade, daughters Frieda Petithory and Ida Wise, infant son Donald Wade, infant daughter Fannie Wade, brother Frank Wade and 4 sisters Iris Cooper, Beulah Howe, Cleone Gumble, and Esther Michels.
