Mrs. Gladys G. Reis, age 85Of rural West Liberty, IL passed away at 11:55 PM - Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Burgin Manor in Olney, IL.Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM – Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, IL with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the mass at the church. In loving memory of Gladys, memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Church.
Arrangements are under the care of the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL.Gladys was born on November 26, 1925 in Wendelin, IL the daughter of Leo and Rose (Amend) Geier. She married Julius J. Reis on January 22, 1947 in Wendelin, IL and he survives.
Gladys was a homemaker and farmer's wife. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and the Ste. Marie American Legion Post #932 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.Gladys is survived by:
