Obituary
Harold William (Pete) Rush, age 82
of Tuscola, Illinois formerly of Edgewood, Illinois and Dieterich, Illinois passed away at
11:00 AM – Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home.
Burial services for family and close friends will be at 11:00 AM – Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Please, no flowers or donations.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.
Harold was born on September 5, 1932 in Edgewood, Illinois the third of four sons born to
D.L. (Pete) and Hazel (Myers) Rush.
Harold married Betty Lugar of Sigel, Illinois in 1957 and she died in a car crash May 4, 1999. Harold served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955 stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict. Harold retired from Trunk Line Gas Company in Tuscola, Illinois.
Harold is survived by:
2 children- Keith Rush of Decatur, Illinois and Kelly (Dennis) Joseph of Indianapolis, Indiana
2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
Brothers- Kenneth (Claudine) of Effingham, Illinois and Lee of Ft. Morgan, Colorado
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, parents, infant brother Frederick Glen,
in-laws William (Dinger) and Hazel Will and sister in law, Alice Rush.
