Harold Eugene Taggart, age 88

April 16, 1932 – October 14, 2020

Harold Eugene Taggart, age 88, of Gilbert, Arizona, and formerly of Hazel Dell, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM - Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Hazel Dell Church of God in Hazel Dell, Illinois, with Pastor Brooke Davis.  Burial will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery in Hazel Dell, Illinois.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home – Bishop Chapel in Greenup, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Harold Eugene came into this world on April 16, 1932.  He was born at home, in Hazel Dell, Illinois, the son of Wayne and Dorothy Taggart.

Harold grew up helped work in his father's store and feed mill.  As a young man he recognized the call of God on his life and chose to preach the Gospel.  He faithfully ministered and shared the Word of God throughout most of his life.  His ministry began in 1958, at Cooper Chapel in Marshall, Illinois. His ministry spanned for over 50+ years and won many souls for the Lord.

Harold is survived by:

Daughter - Vanessa Kohl

Grandchildren - Sean Kohl, Aaron Kohl, Geoffry Kohl, Kyle Wright, Ryan Wright, Leslie Wright and Faith Kohl.

Great grandsons - Gage Kohl and Sterling Kohl

Brothers - Marshall Taggart and Victor Taggart both of Hazel Dell, Illinois

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Taggart, children Harold Wayne Taggart, Robert Eugene Taggart, and Karen Louise Wright.
