Herman David Park, age 58 of Olney, passed away at 1:38 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his residence in Olney.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 3-4 PM in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 4 PM. Clyde Liston and Bob Tobaka will be speaking.

David was born June 23, 1957, in Olney, the son of Herman Randall and Minnigene "Jean" (Brewer) Park. He later married Cathy Tullis on June 29, 1980 in Noble. She survives.

He worked for 35 plus years at the Opportunity Center/ARC. He was a member of Church of Christ in Claremont. He enjoyed playing softball and gained the nickname of Buckshot. He also enjoyed woodworking, hunting, gardening, and was a member of buck hunters association. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Dave is survived by his wife Cathy Tullis-Park; uncle Wilbur Brewer of Noble; nephew Jacob S. Abbott of Princeton; niece, Gemma Abbott Tennyson and husband Jason of California; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Jean Park and several aunts and uncles.
