Hugh Forest Wise, age 76

Of Charleston, IL passed away at 8:30 PM – Saturday, February 28, 2015 at

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Funeral services celebrating Hugh's life will be held at 11:00 AM- Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Cummins Church east of Rose Hill, IL with Evan Beasley officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, IL.

Hugh was born on February 10, 1939 in White Pine, Tennessee the son of Dewey and Eula Pearl (Hall) Wise. He married Dixie Darlene Bosworth on February 28, 1958 in Marion, Indiana and
she preceded him in death on July 10, 2014.

Hugh served his country in the Indiana Army National Guard from March 1957 till March 1960. Hugh retired from Broadway Express as a truck driver and also farmed. Hugh enjoyed fishing,
hunting, going to the casino and watching John Wayne westerns. He was an avid sports fan; he especially enjoyed watching Philadelphia Eagles football.

Michael Hugh (Jeanne) Wise of Lewisburg, Tennessee

Tony Allen (Judy) Wise of Azle, Texas

Teri Lee (Tom) Kelly of Mattoon, Illinois

Dion (Alisha) Wise of Yale, Illinois

8 Grandchildren - Cody, TJ, Jessica, Sheene, Shareé, Chelsey, Carrie Ann and Rachelle

4 Great Grandchildren

Sister - Betty Swisher of Greentown, Indiana

Brothers - Homer Wise of Marion, Indiana; Leon Wise of Dandridge, Tennessee;

Johnny "Aus" Wise of Dandridge, Tennessee and Bob Wise of Summitville, Indiana

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dixie, granddaughter Melanie,

brother June Wise and 2 infant siblings.
