Ivan Dale White, age 88
of Newton, Illinois passed away at 11:00 PM – Saturday, April 18, 2015 at
Burgin Manor in Olney, Illinois.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM – Friday, April 24, 2015 at Central Christian Church in Newton, Illinois. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, Illinois with full military by the Ste. Marie American Legion Post #932. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service. In loving memory of Ivan, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Southeastern Illinois Hospice.
Ivan was born on September 1, 1926 in Jasper County, Illinois the son of Frank and Katie (Robards) White. He married Lillian Mae Dominski on June 26, 1948 in Canton, Illinois and she preceded him in death on August 30, 2001.
Ivan retired from Fedders in Effingham, Illinois after 36 years of service and was a member of the Central Christian Church.
Ivan served his country in the United States Army during WWII.
Ivan is survived:
3 Children - Karen (Jerry) Beucherie of Newton, Illinois
Gary (Libby) White of Griffith, Indiana
Larry (Susan) White of Seffner, Florida
8 Grandchildren
13 Great grandchildren
1 Great Great grandchild expected in May 2015
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Noel White and sisters Jessie Acklin, Delores Goebel and Lavera Vandel.
