Mr. Jackie Dean "Jack" LeMay, age 72
Of Hidalgo, IL passed away at 11:30 PM - Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Carle FoundationHospital in Urbana, IL.
Funeral services celebrating Jack's life will be held at 2:00 PM – Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Bro. Doug Staley officiating. Burial will be in the Andrews Cemetery rural Hidalgo, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.
Jack was born on April 1, 1939 in Grove Township in Jasper County, Illinois the son of Claude and Edna (Linthicum) LeMay. He married Mary Louise Verhey and she survives.
Jack worked at the Rose Hill Elevator for many years and enjoyed spending time with his family and running.
He is survived by his wife Mary LeMay of Hidalgo, IL
Mother- Edna Groves of Jewett, IL
Children- Jack LeMay of Newton, IL; Dina (Joe Veach) LeMay of Charleston, IL and Jeff LeMay of Hidalgo, IL
Grandchild Richard Cates
Brothers- Terry (Jessie) LeMay of Hawthorne, CA and Dennis (Tana) LeMay of Jewett, IL
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Roy LeMay.
