Jacob Lee Hall, age 19

Jacob Lee Hall, age 19, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 12:20 PM - Sunday, June 28, 2020, at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM – Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at the Scott Avenue Christian Church in Newton, Illinois, with Kevin Colclasure officiating.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  In loving memory of Jacob, memorials can be mailed to the Meyer Funeral Home 307 West Jourdan Street Newton, Illinois 62448.

Jacob was born on February 6, 2001, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Donald Lee Hall and Darla (Kroeger) McWhirter .  He attended the Illinois Center for Autism in Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Jacob enjoyed playing video games, watching TV and taking car rides.

He attended Scott Avenue Christian Church in Newton, Illinois.

Mother – Darla McWhirter of Newton, Illinois

Siblings – Joshua Sherman, Hannah Sherman and Sarah Sherman all of Bloomington, Illinois and Ashtyn Hall of Mt. Vernon, Illinois

Jacob was preceded in death by his father and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Daughty and Genell and Henry Kroeger.
