James Frederick Klier, age 61
Of Libertyville, IL passed away at 7:05 PM – Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL. In loving memory of Jim, memorials may be made to the Lambs Farm P.O. Box 520 Libertyville, IL 60048. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.
James was born on January 24, 1951 in Chicago, IL the son of Floyd and Dorothy (Lindsey) Klier.
Jim was a long time resident of Lambs Farm in Libertyville, IL a residential facility for the developmental disabled.
Jim though challenged in life was a loving and giving person, and continued to be so in death: by donating the precious gift of sight to someone less fortunate than he.
Jim is survived by:
Sister - Joanne (husband William) Foote of El Paso, TX
2 Brothers - Robert Klier of El Paso, TX
Will Klier of Newton, IL
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
