Janet L. Miller, age 68, of Flora, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her home.
Janet was born on March 8, 1957, in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Wayne and Lucille (Foster) Hickox.  She was united in marriage to Emmitt Miller on July 31, 2009, at the Church of God in Olney Illinois, and shared 15 wedding anniversaries until his passing on April 23rd, 2025

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM – Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois, with Reverend Duane Sovdi officiating.  Visitation for friends and family will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Honey Cemetery in Bogota, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.

Janet spent her life caring for others; She worked many years at Helia Healthcare Center of Olney. She had a passion for cats; her loves were Clarabelle and Millie.  Janet could always be found caring for the children of her family.  She was everyone's "person" due to her compassion for others.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband Emmitt, brothers Ronnie and Richard Hickox, parents Wayne and Lucille Hickox.
