Jeannine Fear, age 81
Of Newton, Illinois passed away at 1:55 PM – Wednesday, September 10, 2014
at Newton Rest Haven in Newton, Illinois.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM – Monday, September 15, 2014 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, IL with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Burial will be in the New St. Peter Cemetery in Newton, Illinois. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the mass. In loving memory of Jeannine, memorials may be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church or donor's choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

Jeannine was born on December 1, 1932 in Newton, Illinois the daughter of John Joseph and Elizabeth Agnes (Schedlbauer) Fear.
Jeannine graduated from Newton Community High School in 1950. She worked at the Star Theater and for Dr. Hartrich for 6 years. Late she went to work for the State of Illinois in Springfield. Jeannine retired from the Home Extension service after 30+ years of service.
Jeannine was a member of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the Jasper Post #20 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to quilt, raise flowers and was a true nature lover especially birds.

Brother – Paul "Wayne" (wife Ruth) Fear of Forsyth, Illinois
James (wife Fran) Fear of Oreana, Illinois
Sister – Mary Kay Eyer of Carlinville, Illinois
Sister-in-law – Mable Fear of Marshall, Texas
Nieces and Nephews – Gary, Linda, Rhonda, Janet, Jerry, Lori, Danny, Becky, Jackie, Sandy, Randy, David, Lisa, Craig, Mary Beth and Brian
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Florent J. Fear, Eugene Fear, Leslie Fear and Lawrence "Larry" Fear; sister Madonna Romack; sister-in-law Lorene Fear, Doris Fear; brother-in-laws Gordon Romack and Tony Eyer; nephew Donald Fear and Stephen Fear and a niece Jeanne Guest.
