Jeffrey Paul Price, age 63

Jeffrey Paul Price, age 63, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 5:30 PM – Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at his son's home in rural Oblong, Illinois.

Funeral services celebrating Jeffrey's life will be held at 11:00 AM – Friday, September 6, 2019, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois with Kevin Colclasure officiating.  Burial will be in the South Bend Cemetery in rural Jasper County, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.  In loving memory of Jeffrey, memorials may be made to the family.  The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com .

Jeffrey was born on November 8, 1955, in Alton, Illinois, the son of Paul and Stella (Romanko) Price.

Jeffrey was a boilermaker and a member of the Local #363 union.  He was a member of the Ste. Marie Sons of American Legion Squadron #932.  Jeffrey enjoyed gardening and raising chickens.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents.
