Mrs. Jerry Ann Behrens, Age 83
Of Dieterich, IL passed away at 3:30 PM – Sunday, December 11, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM – Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Dieterich Village Cemetery with Pastor Gary Fortkamp officiating. Arrangements are under the care of the Blake-Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich, IL. Obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.
Jerry Ann was born on August 13, 1928 in Sikeston, MO the daughter of Hugh and Myrtle (Harden) Garrison. She married Robert Behrens, Sr. on April 2, 1949 and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2011.
Jerry was a homemaker and had worked with organizing unions. She was a member of the Dieterich American Legion Post #628 and the VFW.
Jerry is survived by: 2 Children - Brenda Elaine (Mark) Hardiek of Dieterich, IL Robert H. (Karen) Behrens, Jr. of Dyersburg, TN
7 Grandchildren – Noble John Taylor Jr; Michelle Yocom Anesu; Katie Yocom Guffey; Bill Valentine; Brady Valentine; Bobby Behrens and Brandy Behrens. 11 Great-grandchildren - Michael; Dawson; Ryan; Max; Eli; Logan; Maleah; Kohl; CJ; Taylor and Blade.
1 Brother Jack Garrison of Aurora, KY and 1 Sister Carolyn Garrison Standridge of Lake Wapapello, MO
Jerry Ann was as preceded in death by her parents, husband and 4 siblings- James Garrison, John Garrison, Eulalene Garrison Morris and Hugh Garrison, Jr.
