Mrs. Jessie Naomi Daniel, age 97

Mrs. Jessie N. Daniel, of St. Charles, Illinois, and formerly of Newton, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, in St. Charles, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.  Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.

Jessie Naomi Burgener was born July 31, 1918, in Ste. Marie Township, Jasper County, Illinois, the daughter of Barney and Bessie Burgener.  She married Robert Ray Daniel on November 30, 1936, and he preceded her in death.   They had a son Vernon who passed into glory on September 26, 2014, and a daughter Delores (husband Neil) Gower who lives in Plano, Texas.  Jessie and Robert and their children farmed for a while in Jasper County.  For many years she worked in the printing business in St. Charles, IL.
