Jimmie Allen “Jim” Tuttle, age 81, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 10:45 PM - Tuesday, April 6, 2026, at HSHS Saint Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM (Noon) on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. Graveside service celebrating Jim's life will follow at the Hunt Cemetery near Yale, Illinois, with Zeb Myers and Rick Britton officiating. In loving memory of Jim, memorials may be made to the Hidalgo Baptist Church. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
