Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM – Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin, IL with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until mass time at the church. John was born on January 10, 1921 in rural Moultrie County, IL the son of Joseph and Helen (Ament) Kuhl. He married Jeanette Ochs on October 5, 1948 at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, IL.

John was a retired farmer and raised registered Angus cattle. He was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus and Jasper County Farm Bureau. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and played on several baseball and softball teams in his younger days.

John is survived by his wife of 63 years – Jeanette Kuhl of Newton, IL

John was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ernest Kuhl, granddaughter Rachel Rudolphi and a great grandson Braxton Worrell.
