John E. O'Donnell, age 72

John E. O'Donnell, age 72, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.

John was born on May 9, 1952, in Lynnwood, California, the son of Donovan and Joan (LaFortune) O'Donnell.
He married his wife Connie on March 5, 1977, and she survives.

John was a farmer and had worked at the Walmart DC for a period of time.  He loved model trains, and he would build and trade models with other model train enthusiasts.

John is survived by:
Wife - Connie O'Donnell of Olney, Illinois
Daughters - Lyndsey (Brian) Reedy of Mattoon, Illinois and Katie (Brian) Amos of Olney, Illinois
Grandchildren - Kaylee Reedy, Caleb Reedy, Cody Amos, and Levi Amos
Great-grandchild - Hudson
Sister - Jean (Dave) Berger of Fullerton, California

John was preceded in death by his parents.
